How to align the pulsarium rings on the Death Star

How to align the pulsarium rings on the Death Star
I am stuck on the Death Star level. I cannot seem to force grip the pulsarium rings and align them in time to cross the ring area.
By the time I force grip and align the first ring, the laser bean amps up and fires, making me run for cover and needing to start the alignment all over again.
Any suggestions?
Can I access the crossing on the lower level?

No, you can't get to the other side on the lower level. You must force grip the rings and use the left and right thumbsticks to align them. There are 3 rings and when you grip the rings only one is gripped at a time. You don't need to aim at any of the rings to grip them like you would normally have to do when picking up an object. All you need to do is grip and align the first ring with either left or right thumbstick (sorry, forgot which one you use on the first ring). You'll know when the ring is finished aligning because it will lock into place. Once the first is aligned, release grip then grip again and the second ring will be gripped, align that, then once again grip and the third ring will be selected. You need to start aligning immediately after the laser finishes firing so you have enough time to align the rings and get to safety.

I'm stuck on this too. I align the rings but what do you do next?Tried running across and jumping on floor that comes out to other side but just fall to lower level

If you keep getting zapped algn the rings from either the far right or far left and you wont get zapped. I don't no how but it wont hit you right there in the tube

I just stood inbetween the two things you have to align and aligned them from there it's pretty simple after the first couple tries

You align the first then get over the bridge then I suggest waiting for he beam to shoot and stop then you align the second and get over that bridge and continue with the level so in other words you don't have to align them at the same time
