In Red Dead Redemption, you play as John Marston, a former outlaw who seeks to leave his violent past behind. But when his family is taken from him, Marston must hunt the criminals he used to run with to redeem himself and return to his new life.

First go to Esclarea and in the villa on the top of the hill and kill everyone inside and outside and if that doesn't work kill everybody in the village and you will unlock the throwing knife. P.S don't forget to kill the people from behind the villa too.
When there is two people at your side you can use dead eye and press the rb button at the back of the controller while the dead eye is active. Then you can kill both off them
This is the challenge most people struggle with, because we all want the buffalo rifle, but some damned cougars keep us from it.
Here's what to do:
1. Go to repentance rock
2. Find a cougar
3. Kill it
4. Find its friend (they always hunt is couples, negative to have a "Friend" hanging around"
5. Shoot it once in the stomach with a Volcanic (it will be slow and not aggressive)
6. Ride after it and knife it
7. Get off and skin it
Voila, buffalo rifle ready to be bought.
If you have Death or Fire horse then kill a zombie with a tomahawk and kill the rest with your horse.
Today I'm going to show you how to unlock the Red Dead Redemption Logo T-Shirt Avatar Award.
All you have to do is go to Riley's Charge. It's near Armadillo and Cholla Springs. You will see a "House" icon when you look at it at the Map. When you go to it, you will see a cabin. Go inside the cabin, and you will see a crate on the floor. Press (Y) to open the crate, and the "Avatar Award Unlocked" sign will come up on the screen.

From betting $25 - $100, the button presses are always the same, so as long as you memorize the sequence you can get an easy $100 every 20 seconds. The sequence is:
- GREEN / A
- RED / B
- YELLOW / Y
- BLUE / X
- GREEN / A
- RED / B
- YELLOW / Y
(If you bet $100,(Which honestly, why wouldn't you?) this pattern will repeat twice the first time, then 4 times the next.)
You can replay any mission by opening "Stats" on the pause menu and going to "Missions". Then just find the mission you want to replay and press "A".
Once you get to the "Poppycock" mission in Mexico, you have to find a package, deliver it to someone, receive $1000, then give the money back to the seller of the package you delivered.
Of course, you can just not complete the mission after receiving the money, but for an outfit, you must complete the mission. Return to the seller and return the money. Wait for him to go outside, then point a gun at him. He will start shooting at you. Don't do anything or else you will have a bounty on your head! Let the police shoot and kill him. Then, loot his body and you will get the 1000 dollars back AND mission complete!
If you're being attacked by wolves and you don't want to spend time aiming and killing, one or two blasts from a shotgun should be enough to scare them off.
To Find The White Stallion,go to your map and look at Las Hermanas.Move to your right and set a waypoint halfway between the train tunnel and Las Hermanas settlement.
