There's a tree with a space to hide under.Go there and keep hitting rex with all you got,while dodgeing it.When it falls,equip you'r knife and run in to finish.

When I beat I had a shotgun and I shot a flare at it's head lmao then it fell down then I ran out and finised it with a knife but I guss hit works 2 I just used a flare

Yeah I had a snipe and bow and arrow and just shoot the thing till it's on the ground then finish it of with your knife

I hid under the tree and kept firing at it waited till it was far enough away and distracted fighting other dinosaurs to run across to the other side beneath rocks hid out for a little bit there while it thought more dinosaurs then sneakily ran across to the cave on to the next part I didn't actually kill it.
