Question for Tropico 4

Hello, I really want to buy this game but I really need to know some things first. Is there a time limit for building things on a island? Or a limit for the quantity of building buildings? And are there some islands you can build on, if the answer is yes, how many? Sorry for my english but I think you will understand. Thanks a lot if you give me a answer!

There are absolutely no restrictions for the number of buildings you can build nor is there a time limit. You are assigned to build on a very large islan, and there may be a few smaller ones around you, but you can't develop them. I just bought this game yesterday. It has many aspects to control, just as you would assume to have due to you running a country, but it is quite easy to get the hang of it all. I was just going to play it to see if it might be worth buying and then I was planning on returning it after I played it for a little bit (I know it's bad and I feel guilty) but there's no way I'm returning it. This game is very fun and a must buy if you like any kind of games that may resemble this!

You can say there is a limit to the amount of time you can rule, but it's time spans from "1950 -2000" in game years. It literally took me all day to get to that point in sand box mode, and that was mostly spent with the speed turned all the way up. (You can adjust how quickly time passes) I completely covered my island, and it turned out fantastic. I'm kinda glad that time eventually ran out, otherwise I wouldn't have stopped playing. I want to live there now. I think I might actually be addicted to it. Speaking of which, I'm going to go play it with my girlfriend right now.
