To sprint on this game you have to hold down the left bumper and you will sprint for a couple of seconds depending on your mobility level. I hoped this helped.

P.S if the left bumper doesn't make you sprint try the right bumper.

To sprint use the left bumper. Depending on what weapon you are wielding, decides the speed, and time you run at/for.
If you're running, pistols give you best pace, and you can sprint for a longer period of time.
Snipers make you a slow coach much.
