It means you have to do something in town go to the star at the bottom were you have there moods in there click across one and it will tell you what you have to do .I'm Adele if you need help I play sims 3 pets Xbox all the time

My dog went missing and when she did it showed a red exclamation point by her picture. So on the map if there is several of them, your pet has been seen there while they were missing.
