Well if you change the maternity clothes( clothes that you get when preggers) also click on sim and on friendly it says announce pregnancy! Also if you "try for baby" and then vomit your also pregnant!

I think it is around 3-4 days until you sim gives birth and then you receive 3-4 days off work to look after your baby. If you are not sure that you are pregnant there a few ways to test that you are. 1 is, if you 'try for a baby' and after a while your sim vomits/has a emotion saying sick (with unknown causes) then you are pregnant! If you really want to be pregnant I suggest 'trying for a baby' a few times a day as this increases your chances of conception! Also if you have 10,000 lifetime reward points you can buy a reward that increases fertility (not sure what it's called but you should find it easily if you look for the word fertility! This reward also increases your chances of twins and triplets as well as conception! I hope this helps you!

And also as other people are saying, You can have triplets or twins! Just follow this; (you have to have a spouse female and male)
1. Click on your husband/wife and then go to SPECIAL.
2. Then your options are: something I forgot, Woohoo! And Try For A Baby.
3. Click the try for baby one, then you will kiss your spouse, then they will go to their room.
4. Then they will do the "cuddle" motion, then they will try for a baby like it said. Then the next day you might puke in the toilet, thats good though it's showing you that your getting that baby in your tummy. After some hours it will say YOUR PREGNENAT will I sign up you know? Then a while later you will get fater and fater and waiting for that baby to pop out. After 2-3-4 days then your sim will start screaming and panting, oh no! It's time! Then you should turn into the husband and go to her then HE will start screaming too, he's going to be a father and his wife is about to have a baby! Then click on her and it will say take to hospital, click that then she will have the baby at there, or if it's to late, and it's already coming out at home, then just make sure her husband is supporting her, and calming her down. That might not work because he is just screaming, but soon enough you will have it. Congrats! You have a baby! Make sure you and your husband stay in touch by kissing, flirting, and all that gussying up stuff.

For mine on The Sims 3: XBox (not pets) I "tried for a baby" and right after they finished I heard the baby lulaby music, no cuddling though. :/ I'm just scarfing down apples left and right now hoping she has multiple boys.
