I haven't experimented with aliens in Sims 3 Pets yet, but I'd try using a telescope, the most expensive one you can get just to be sure, and have him/her "search the galaxy" and wait until he/she gets abducted. What'l happen to them while they're away I don't know.

All I know was I got abducted at night near a unicorn afterwards my male sim who got taken gave birth to a baby alien

I am going to try this. To my knowledge you have to get your logic up to around levels 7 or 10. It is a small possibility that your sim can come back pregnant regardless of weather or not it is a male or female. The alien should come after 7 pm so that is when your sim should "search the galaxy". Now to be sure that the alien will come get the most expensive telescope. It should cost around 800 sim money. It has to be a male only the males get pregnant

I haven't experimented with it yet but I'm pretty sure you just have to use a telescope on logic level 10
