There was a fire at my house when I was visiting a neighbor both my cat..

It really depends on how you've treated you're cat and dog, the dog is sure to come back if he's got the loyal trait or if he's you're friend/good friend/best friend forever. The cat is sure to come back if he is you're friend/good friend etc.

You can still look at the moodlets Of the lost pet these may hint to where it is. I lost a cat in it's moodlets it sed spooked I went to the cementary and found him!

Well, I had two dogs and they were a boy and a girl. Since we lived in a mansion and my dad is a very inexperienced cooker he set the house on fire. The dogs ended up running away and I couldn't find them they even had a baby!But, it turns out they were at the dog park.

When my dog ran away because I acidently had a fire I reported it as lost straight away then I used get lucky karma and found him at the mouseleum the second time I never made it do anything and it walked of I used the good times it stopped and came back hope I helped my dogs traits are loyal and genius btw

Rigjt now as I'm typing this my two cats, Cade and Numa, had ran off cause of an fire. I'd looked everywhere and it's been about the fifth day. I looked at their moodlets as some of you suggested and it said dirty surroundings and nothing very helpful. Their hungry and sleepy so I guess thats bad. I reported then as well. And nothing.

What I did was that I traveled to each neighborhood and clicked on my sim. If it has the option to call your pet then it's somewhere in the neighborhood. Just pause the game and look for him or her. Mind you this is only in the PS3 game, I've never had a problem on the PC version.

Go to Kitty Korner and look for your cat that's where I found my cat when she ran away.

If you want to find your cat and/or cat when they run away, quickly go to the town map and look for the green icon with the pets picture on it. Thats how I found my cat.

I left my sims (on the ps3) running for about 5 mins and I come back to my house on fire and my cat missing. I've looked everywhere but I can't find him. Then it reminded me that he was missing and it said lets hope nothing bad happened. I really want to find him because his mate is about to have kittens.

There are a few things you can do to get your pet/pets back, but the first is to report it lost. Another thing is you can look at their moodlets, (by pressing x and going to the lost pet) for example; My cat ran away after a fire. Her moodlets where stressed out, dirty, filthy surrounding and new friend. I found her at the park, (which explained the 'new friend' moodlet) but before I could do anything she ran off. Then I found her near a dumpster (Explaining the dirty, filthy surroundings moodlets) I hope this helped!

Once my house started on fire but my dog just ran and hid under the bed while my sims were running around with their hands in the air. It was hilarious, but my cat ran away. :( I looked everywhere but never found her until one day she just came into my yard, so she might just come back on her own.

The best way to get your pet back is to click on the pet center and click on spa wait at the pet spa and when it's coming there you click on it and bam you found your pet

You can try "Reset Sim.". I lost my two dogs, and I tried looking around town and reporting them missing, but I got tired of looking so I held down the Left trigger button (Xbox360) and clicked on the mailbox, clicked "Reset Sim," then clicked on their names. And they appeared in the living room perfectly fine. The missing notification went away and their moodlets were good and everything was back to normal again. Hope this helps anybody in the future.

I found one of my cats at a graveyard the night it went missing

I just checked their moodlets and it said beautiful park. I checked every park out there and they weren't there, but if you're in the right neighborhood it will show an icon that indicates that one of the family members is there, and you found your inconsiderate feline
