Question for The Sims 3
Ok well this is only for the xbox 360 game I need to know about, my sim (mother) was teaching a toddler how to talk, the toddler learned how to talk and then she wouldn't stop talking and now the mother is frozen and neither of them will move. If you get other sims to try to pick the baby up, she wont move, neither will the mother. I even tried to exit out of talking to them and shut off my xbox twice. I tried the karma power and tried to do a makeover on them but that didn't work either. I tried to move them away but they are stuck like that please help me! I don't want to start over I spent along time on them and really like this file!

I have been stuck in this situation before and I had to leave it for a while too. I found out when you go to you Mailbox (if you have cheats enabled) hold down LT and click on it, a number of choices have come up click on the choice 'Reset Sim' click on one of your sims that has been frozen then go back to the Mailbox and repeat and click on the other sim what has been frozen too. Well all I can say is that you now just have to delete the file start again then the do mother and the toddler on create a sim then start teaching it again but don't teach it to much or else it might freeze again or you might need the CD cleaned or just have it replaced

You do NOT have to be in cheat mode to reset sims using the mailbox.You still hold down LT and click but it only says -reset sim- if you are not in cheat mode

It would not let me reset via the mailbox however we rebuilt the house, extreme I know, and that seems to have worked.
