Ok so my dog was digging and he found a lucky dog relic. By the way my fire meter is in the red. I put the dog relic in my house and it made my fire meter go in the green. Hope this helps

I have both limestone and marble relics and mine is still in the red - you must've done something else

True true

There is no way to keep the fire meter down. Even if there was, it would probably just freeze the game up and cause all sorts of glitches and
Screw-ups. Sorry.

Guest answered:

Buy things that don'T have an environment point against against them! It goes slower.

Guest answered:

You can't get rid of the fire hazard meter ,but there's a way to help lower it. Just make sure
To completely fill the fire hazard meter. Make
Sure that plants are on you lot. When the plants
Are mature or ready to harvest start deleting
Everything. So the next you build a house the meter
Will hardly go up. I know his works I have a house
Nearly as big as my lot and it's completely filled.
But on the meter it's only half way.

My sims always seem to want to garden so having all these plants is an absolute pain
legandary_cheater answered:

The easiest way is to sell cause I'm playing on it now and my meter was all the way up so I sold stuff!allthough people say don't buy/sell buy neccasery things and sell uneccasery things! Also my friend is helping me .. But I'm not to sure .. So if you can find anything that makes that stupid fire meter go down let me know!!!!

Guest answered:

Ok so to hack your fire bar a little lower just move out of your house and then move right back in it's as simple as that and you can move in and out like 6 or 7 times and your fire will be really low to ya hope this helps

But the options are sell your furniture or keep it? Not leave it lol
Guest answered:

What I do is:
1. Go to town map
2. Click on your house
3. Click 'copy house' (This saves it to your studio)
4. Then click 'replace house'
5. Click on the home you just saved (there will be an icon on the bottom right so you know which one)
6. Go back into build/buy mode
7. Your meter should be about in the orange.

OPTIONAL:
8. Click on a sim
9. Go to inventory
10. Click on books
11. Move all of your books into sim inventory (which takes them out of household inventory) and your meter should go down with every book you move.
12. You can move all toys too
13. Sell anything you don't need

It's a pain to go through all of this, but it's the only way to keep all of your things and still lower the meter. Hope this helps Smile

A temporary fix is to go to your inventory and clear out your household stuff it brought my bar from almost red to green.
Guest answered:

If your fridge is full get rid of everything and if you have a ton of books....check to see if you can gain anything from them if not sell them. Your books and food are 2 big problems for fires. Dont know why.
