You press the back button on your controller and then go over the house with the hammer over it and press A.

You press the back button and go to the house and the hammer it should say Build and Buy mode underneath when you're on it then select it.

The back button isn't the 'b'. It's the button the the left of the Xbox logo thing on the controller

On Xbox 360 press the back button on the other side of the start button on the top on the controller but first go to the arrow on the right side or left side of the street hope this heelps :-)

How do you get build mode??????

You press the select button then go to the house and hammer that should say underneath ‘Build and buy mode’ click on it and then you are on build and buy mode!
