Question for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
I just completed the quest Blood on the Ice in Windhelm. I have the key to Hjerim, but when I talk to the Steward, Jorleif, the dialogue option to clean up the house and/or buy decoration upgrades does not appear. Is there more that I have to do? Is it a glitch? I could really use a hand.

It may be because you're not a Thane of Windhelm. You may have gotten the key to Hjerm, but that was only for the purpose of completing the quest, "Blood on the Ice." In order to view the purchasing options you have to become a Thane and even so, you'd have to buy Hjerm first even if you already have a key to it.
