Okay I don't know y but there is a purplish glow around every one and I can't sit down or do cheats plz help.

That's called detect life.Cast dispel on your self.Try resurfacing your disc.I don't think there are any cheats unless you mean glitches.If you downloaded the patches then the glitches should be disabled.

The glow probably means that you have detect life enchantment on yourself. If you have downloaded the patch then you can't use cheats but I don't know about not sitting down.

I don't know about the sit down and cheats, but the purplish glow is from detect life, probably something you're wearing that has a constant effect or maybe a spell.

There aren't any real cheats for Oblivion, just minor bugs like the Dupe Glitch. For the purplish glow, check and see if you've equipped an item that has a "Detect Life" effect on it. Then unequip it. If that doesn't work, I have no idea what could be wrong. As for sitting down, just move the crosshair over a chair, and press A.
