Question for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

I have two questions.
I am having trouble locating goldbrand.I can't find silverfish river.

My second question is that I want to know where some rare items are(mostly swords and armor.)I already have umbra

Boethia's Shrine is East of the Carbolo River, from the middle of the bit where it looks like a Capital 'I'. The best swords are probably the ones from the shrines, so you're best off with Goldbrand at the moment.

For all the info about the daedric shrines check out my guide in the walkthrough section.Another good sword comes from the Mephala's shrine quest. Umbra is one of the strongest blade weapons,it ties with Goldbrand, Ebony Blade(from Mephala's shrine),and Akaviri Warblade at Jensine's Good as New Merchandice in The Imperial City Market District with absorb health, magicka and fatigue enchantments.

In Morrowind, powerful armor and weapons were hidden everywhere. (Considering you've played it before.) But in Oblivion all of the swords and armor you can obtain are leveled items. I hope you haven't found the shrine yet, because this'll save you LOADS of time. You can get the EXACT location of the shrine from Bora gra-Uzgash, who runs Borba's Goods in Cheydinhal. Just ask her about Daedric Shrines.
