Question for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
Stupid question but are there any of those orb things you remove to close the oblivion gates (cant remember what they are called) with the power to Paralyze and if so how potent is it?

They're called Sigil Stones. Yes, they can have Paralyze, and any other imaginable effect. What I'd do is save before you remove it, and keep reloading until you get the effect you want. Because they're completely random.
