Question for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
Ok so I got to the very end where you have to get Martin safely to the dragon fire and no matter how many times I tried he wouldn't follow me through the only palace gate in our way. I heard that you have to knock down that huge deidric god on his butt. Of course then again I had 8 powerful magic swords, the meter on easy and my swords still ended up breaking bofore he even broke a sweat. I accidently deleted the game but I figured I might as well ask in case it happens again?

I don't wanna give away the ending to you or anything but thats not quite how you kill him. I don't know why Martin wouldn't follow you through the palace gate. Since you can't do it right now anyways, I wouldn't worry about it messing up again. It was probably just messing up and it was probably a one time thing. You just walk around Mehrunes Dagon into a door on the building he stands next to (the circular building).
