Where can I get a full set of Imperial armor?

Question for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

Where can I get a full set of Imperial armor? It really doesn't matter if I have to steal it cause my sneak is 110. Yeah 110 and I am only level 13.

When my brother and I got a pair of Imperial armour we snuck up and silently executed him. You said you sneaking was high so it really shouldn't be a problem. Hope I helped.

You could break into the armory in the Imperial City Prison District. It might require a key so what I would do is kill a guard in the Imperial City Waterfront around 12 midnight, take their armor, then run for your life to Armond Christophe and get your bounty taken off your head (if you are in the thieves guild). Or in the dark brotherhood quest where you get invited to the party and have to kill all the members, there is a chest next to the redgaurd's bed that has a set imperial armor in it.

I dunno because the Imperial armour is very rare if you want to " steal " or find it.


The best way to get it is simply killing an Imperial soldier then taking his.

It's way easier than all those other answers to get all Imperial. When doing the "Breaking seige of Kvatch" quest, two imperials help you, wait for one to die and loot his body, this will make the armor not stolen and therefore not taken when you go to jail. I'm not sure if you have to be high leveled but if you don't you can get imperial armor pretty early in the game. Happy to help!!!

In a dark brotherhood quest, you have to go to a party in Skingrad and kill everyone there, one person (Nevil) has imperial legion armour. Kill him when he is sleeping in the bedroom upstairs and take his key, in his chest there is a full thing of imperial legion armour. But it's funner to kill a whole bunch of gaurds in the imperial city.
