Sorry, diamonddogj. But it's all a matter of opinion, and your character's skill. The more blade skill they have, the more damage they do with their blade. Same with marksman, blunt, and hand to hand. Whatever your character's Major Fighting skills are, that type of fighting is the best for them. If they have Destruction as a major skill, then have them keep working on spells. Or if they are good with Blades, Bows, and Axes, you'll have a choice of weaponry. You could also experiment a little on what suits you with major skills being ALL of the fighting types.

I'm 99% sure elven weapons are better becasue elven is the second best light armor and dwarven is 3rd best heavy armor so yes elen is what I would recomend...also it all depends on what your character specialises in as far as combat goes... If you are a night or warrior you could use any kind of weapon...but if you were a mage or spell caster you could magic best... If you weere an archer,assasin,agent ect.. Marksman waoulld be your best weapon...
