Question for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
My friend is a redguard warrior lvl 19, and wants to do the theives guild. But he can't do the last quest because at the part where you sneak past the blind monk to pull the lever to open the door the monk always catches him and he can't get the scroll. He asked me for advice but I had a sneak skill of 55 and saved very often so I can't really help. If anyone knows a way to sneak past at a low lvl please help!

Well if he's good with magic (illusion) he could use the invisibility spell and don't wear heavy armour while sneaking because if he is no wonder he's getting caught.

It doesn't matter about your armour, it's your boots/shoes that count. Either get some normal day-to-day shoes or go bare foot. And move slowly as well. That always helps.
