Can someone please tell me how to get past the paint trolls?

Hey, the Dark Elf you meet in the painting gives you 6 bottles of Terpintine, or in other words paint thinner I guess.

Equip a sword or bow w/ arrows and then select the Terpintine and equip it, when you equip it it asks if you want to use it on your equiped weapon- Ex: "Use Terpintine on Silver Longsword?" Each bottle of Terpintine lasts about 3 hits to the Paint Trolls. Hope that helps :o)

I struggled with this bit. You could always go to options>gameplay and then put the bar for the difficulty rite down to the bottom. Or do what I did, sneak around and jump on the rocks at the sides and when a paint troll tries to hit you, then depending on the rock your on, he wil not be able to get up so you can either kill him from up there or run off around the mountains so he loses you. Also each time you kill a troll save your game.

To get past the trolls get the speacil ostions and go back wards over the rocks you will have to kill only two paint troll I used arrows with the postions the seach the thief for the key and take it back to the guy at the enterance.
