There are rumours that there may be a fifth installment being released sometime in the future, but this has yet to be comfirmed by Bethesda the designers of the previous game. I do not think a sequel to Oblivion will be released in the near future as Bethesda have just released the new Fallout game. This means that is they are going to release a new Elder Scrolls game, it will only be in the early stages of development.

Apparently it has been announced that 2011 will bring the new elder scrolls called Alinor. there is tons of information about this on the internet. I can't wait.

Oscarjesse; your post is actually wrong. Elder Scrolls V is coming out on the 11th of November 2011, and is to be named THe Elder Scrols V: Skyrim. It has been announced you will be a dragonborn, a descandent of the Septim blood line.
