I don't think there is a way to become a blackwood member in-game....however if you wish to do so you could roleplay it ....at the beginning of the game the blackwood company is quite warm to you (probably because you havent joined the fighters guild yet) and you even take whats in the display cases in their guild hall including a blackwood company shield....just hang out in their guild hall although you wont receive quests you could declare war on the fighters guild ....raise your disposition with the other blackwoods so that when a guard will chase you into the guild hall the rest of the company will defend you.....never do the fighters guild questline (rewards arent that great anyway) that way you keep the blackwoods around and they don't end up hating you .....as far as getting a blackwood uniform if you are lucky the guards may end up killing one of them while they try to arrest you or you could always try casting a frenzy spell and make the guards attack him/her casting a frenzy spell isnt considered an assault therefore shouldnt backfire except for the fact that you'll be one member short....besides when you become arch-mage do you wear the ugly arch-mage robes??? I know I dont....get the blackwood shield in the 2nd floor bedroom's display case because thats free and you can show your colors that way ..... The rest is up to you be creative and you'll enjoy yourself.....as far as my bio is concerned ....i think it suits me just fine ...little is known about a mystery anyway...wouldnt you agree....lol a pleasure as always......

No you cannot be a actual member. Maybe just a undercover during the fighter guild quest, but not for blackwood's quests.
