Question for Tales of Vesperia

I have three questions

1. In the mountains near Mt Temza there is an area on the world map where a creature called gentlegolem can be found. It drops blastium ore j how do you unlock this area

2. In the illusion of yormgen at pharoes Craig where you find the sage the second scene with him he gives you a book called biography of the dark blue knight does anyone know what it is for

3 how do you get the optional dungeon and unlock the 200 man challenge

1) You most go to Myorzo and get level 3 on flying with baul from the kid challenge on bottom of myorzo. The kid that's usually squatting. To unlock that area after level 3 flight over to mt temza and a screen will pop up saying how bad weather is. Anyways once you level to 3 it will not only be able to land there but also in snow.
