Right before you get to the soul gem you drop from a higher platform where you have to move blocks to reach the buttons that lower and raise other blocks. When you press the final button a gate opens where you can drop down. BUT BEFORE JUMP! Move one of the blocks off the edge. It will stack on the other block and when you move it to cross you can move that block even more to fill in the hole and you will be able to get Tree Rex's soul gem
