How do I defeat the 1st boss inside the locked arena

just catch the barrels, shoot him in the heart until a serpent thing comes out, do the same for the back and head
First you have to use the TMD and grab the exploding barrels he throws at you and throw them back at him....after a few times you will have to dodge his hammer attack and while his hammer is stuck in the ground shoot the glowing blue spot on his back........do that untill he sends some of his minions after you. Kill them and dodge his running hammer attack three or four times. Then he will throw another exploding barrel at you. Grab it and throw it back at him until he dies
Make it to the docks, the creature comes back even after all orange spot are killed. This creature on the train gets back on the train and I make it to the final point on the train the computer takes over and I lose everytime. What am I doing wrong?
