How do I learn Alchemy??? Please tell me were to go and what to do when I get there?

To unlock Alchemy you need to put 5 points in either Riding, Bargain, or Divine Devotion -- once one of these skills has 5 points you can select Alchemy.

How do I do that? I've had the game for awhile now and Started playing again after years and do not remember.
