I play Rock band on expert with the guitar (bass) and I had 100%, but I didn't get the achievement. I looked at the achievemtn and it says up-strums only, and I have no idea what an up-strum is. Could someone help me?

Instead of pushing the strummer towards the floor, you can only pull the strummer up, towards your head. But 'gratz on doing that, even with downstrums.
This is were you take the White Strum bar(Used to hit the notes), pushing it upwards. This creates the Up-Strum. It's harder doing the Up-Strum though, at least it was for me. I couldn't hit hardly any notes that way.
Theres 2 ways to do this strum to your head of if your good put in lefty flip but play the bass righty instead. The last one is hard but you can do it, it just take a good mind and not to get confused.

Bass usually repeats itself, so if you get the rhthym, you can alternate strumming with your index and middle fingers, this is what I do.
