Saving in co-operative play?

This may sound silly but how do you save the game on offline co-operative play? The two of us have been playing the game together and when we turned it off the game has started again. Thanks!

It should autosave if not there something wrong

Twilight Warior answered:

The game should automatically save after each mission. Make sure you have a storage device selected. If you do make sure it has enough memory to save as that could cause it not to save. Hope I helped.

It should autosave but instead of turning the system off,try to pause and choose end game,it will save if you choose to do so.Though it could be because you don't choose a storage device.

Aeon-Flux answered:

Well depending when you hit the markers that cause the 'auto save' feature built in the game. You do not have to find the old things like type writers to save your game anymore, and you don't have the access to save through hitting the start function as well. When you complete a part of the game, it continues on and saves at certain points.

wrasmusson answered:

It atimatically saves money, weapons ammo etc for each player and should save story progresion also, try being same player and controller

Zach22 answered:

Ok, there are a few things that can make it not save. Because it should auto-save after each chapter. First, when you start the game make sure that you select a storage device, if you have a memory card that has a lot of space, choose that, if your hard drive has enough free space in it, ou can choose that as well. But if you don't have foom on either, you may want to enter your hard drive and delete a few things to make room for this game. Well that is all I can think of. Hope this helps.
