You can't your weapon always stays the original color.but if youre making a weapon then you just have to get the correct photons.and could you rate this a 10 rating.

The color of the weapon is what Element the weapon is.
Red=Fire
Blue=Ice
Yellow=Lighting
Brown=Ground
White=Light
Purple=Dark
Green=None
You can't just 'change' the element of your weapon(Unless you play a Ranger, and you equip a Bullet Photon Art into your gun) You have to Craft a weapon with your Partner Machine(Pete in the story line.)
