I'm kinda stuck on a really weird bit.

You come across these ruins with a V-Rex on your ass, and you've got too keep him distracted long enough for Ann too call for Kong. Hayes keeps saying "Shoot the bats!" but it doesn't really work, and there's only like Two bats..

So, I need too know if there's any other way of doing it.. Like throwing a spear at the V-Rex for attention or something.

Yeah, you have to get down from the ledge, and shoot the bats from the floor, and the V-Rex will eat them giving time for Ann to call Kong.

Yes, or you could start a spear on fire, throw it at the V-rex, then run! Circle around the stones until the V-rex breaks them. Run to the next one and shoot bats on the way, this will make it so you can run to another without him attacking you. He'll just eat them and fortunatly not you!
