Question for Need for Speed: Most Wanted

Why does the game always "subtract" my mph on sprint races where you need to pass the finish line on a specific speed? Because every time I finish at like 135mph it says I finished at 101mph... And I don't know why!! Please help me!

You need an average speed to win those races. If your current speed is 142.7 mph and your average is 129.8 mph and you need 130 mph you wont win, you have to have an average speed of 130 mph.
