Theres two things you could be refering to one is when other crews try and retake a race event and lose will cauce you to lose that reward and two is the race against the boss of that area. This is a seric of race one in the city then depending on how you do one or two in the canyons.

It is possible to beat Darius. I'd reccomend using a car with good acceleration like the corvette

Well, yeah muscles accelerate fast, like you recommended the Corvette, that's how I beat him, but you might want to over take Darius, it will take several times at the beginning with the turn because in the corvette you lose balance on the road, but all you have to do is ram him on the side, pull ahead and keep him from passing you up for ten seconds, that's how I won.

Or what you could do with the the corvette is pass him on the first turn but stay on the inside he may have fast car but sucks at driving
