Its probably going to be in the next update or a later update there will be a really low chance for it to be a mod

Iron Golems were added in TU12 (released August 23rd). My bet is that either you haven't allowed your game to be updated since then, or you aren't making the Iron Golems correctly.

If your game hasn't been updated, simply connect your 360 to the internet and allow Minecraft to update.

Iron Golems are not build exactly like Snow Golems. Iron Golems require four blocks of iron arranged in a "T" shape with a pumpkin or jack'o'lanturn placed on top. The iron blocks must be placed first.

Iron golems and every other(except snow) had not been relesed untill tu12 8-23-2013
