There are no launch pads or space shuttles in any version of Minecraft.
I'm going to assume that you saw a mod showcase. That was a mod that you could download and use on your PC version of Minecraft. You cannot use that mod on your Xbox version.
There are a few reasons that you cannot use the PC mod on the Xbox version: The PC version of Minecraft is 1.6.2, whereas the Xbox version is at the PC equivalent of 1.1. Microsoft has a strict no modding policy. The Xbox version is written in C++ but the PC version is written in Java, meaning that the mod is incompatable due to programing differences.
