The next update is bug fixes. There will be some work done on Blazes and their drops.
The update after the next one adds the End among other things.

Just because you don't like the answer, doesn't mean it isn't right. At the time of posting this, the next update IS going to be a bug fix and the one after will include the End. No one knows anything else.
