How do I start a minecart?
I'm building a railroad on Minecraft PS3 from the spawnpoint to my house. I can't figure out how to start the minecart with me in it, though. It'll work on automatic rails when I'm not in it, but never when I actually get in. Also, I don't want to push it every time. I tried pushing a button and pulling a lever like on the PC, but it still doesn't work. Please try to help.
Also, I tried pushing it with a piston, and it worked, but I want a more professional way that looks better.

I used the redstone torch and the powered rails and mine works and made it where theres 1 powerd rail for every two normal rails

You guys are thinking too hard if you look at the tutorial in creative an go under the demonstartion then it will show you exactly! How to build it.after that for the tutorials exact instructions

Push L3 foward.

Yeah, you can put a dectector rail behind a powered rail. It will kick the minecart forward a little
