The wither is a huge, three headed creature that glides around shooting wither bombs at you. He doesn't live anywhere because he is made by the player. You arrange soul sand in the shape of a 'T' and then put three wither skeleton heads on top.

The Wither is NOT in the current Xbox version. But to answer your questions:
The Wither is a three headed skeletal creature. It has no limbs, but does have two additional necks coming out of it's shoulders. The Wither is roughly twice the size of Steve (the player).
The Wither is considered both a boss mob (like the Ender Dragon) and a utility mob (like Snow Golems and Iron Golems). The Wither does not exist until it is created (multiple can be created). The Wither is created by the player by placing four blocks of Soul Sand in a "T" shape, and then placing three Wither Skeleton Skulls on top.
Also, Wither Skeletons, Wither Skeleton Skulls, and Iron Golems are NOT in the current version either.

The wither looks scary and lives wherever you place him. But not in Minecraft: XBOX 360 Edition yet...

I have the latest version wither can be found but not made wither skeletons live some where mostly in the nether

1.) /summon witherboss 2.) Battle him untill he dies 3.) When he looks like a charged creeper he is near the end of his life 4.) When he is dead you will see a Nether Star on the ground underneath where you killed him 5.) Pick the star up and have fun with ur other bosses!!
