On the suicide mission I always lose one of the two I take through the swarm biotic shield area. Need some help.

Use a stronger biotic as your shielder. Try Samara or Jack. Those two are the ones I've used and nobody ever dies.

I used samara as my biotic and had jack and grunt in my squad and all but jack was loyal so I would try that team and if it doesnt work just try different combos or check the unofficial mass effect 2 guide here on supercheats.

Use a loyal biotic if the character you choose to hold the barrier ain't loyal someone dies
