Is it possible to use one of my allies decryption skill to decrypt a locked container and if it is possible, how?
Comment:(Feb 23 2010) Ok then, how do you do it? Just walk up to it and open it and their skill will be applied as your own?

Yes! If you have a member who is in your active party (One of the two following you around as you adventure) and they have a high enough decryption skill, you can hack any crate as if you had it yourself. That's why it's important to have Kaiden, Tali, or Garrus with you at all times, or to be a part engineer yourself: To open those doors and crates with the good stuff in 'em.
When you have an ally with a high enough level to decrypt or hack, you can start. All you need is to have an ally with a high enough skill in your active party, then select the object.
