Team Menu gives the ability to select a team of four heroes to start with.

With your selected team... Which can be changed and added to as you go along... You can 'Level Up' yur team, up to level 30, gaining points as you go that can be added to team attributes that help you play. You gain points by getting reputation from doing objectives throughout the game.
Once team selection,team name, and team logo have been selected, you los reputtion if you change your choices.

Team attributes stay in effect as long as three characters are active on your team. Characters not chosen for the team do not share in team benefits.

The Team ability is available upon reaching the Atlantis level. It can be accessed with the right trigger (RT) buton on your character selection/managment page.

My personal note: As your team upgrades, you only get 30 points to add to your team, but 32 slots available for points... I recommend sacrificing team bench slots. That way all power up attributes get full attention. If you want t change the members of the team down the road, sacrificing reputation isn't a worry once everything else is full.
