Why does the add on content docs on mafia 2 don't work even doe
When I try to play the add-on content on mafia 2 it say that I need a hard drive but I have one so why isn't it working?

I have no idea. I own the Add-Ons and originally played with the disc version. I recently downloaded the digital version (since it is the free Game with Gold game) and they work just fine.
What I suggest you do is uninstall the game and add-ons and then re-install them.
