Question for Mafia 2
When I go to Bruno's to pay him back, the cutscene does not come up! Can anyone help me or tell me what to do to fix this problem?

In "Stairway to Heaven" you CAN NOT get a wanted level from the police while trying to raise your half of the money. It bugs the game and won't let you finish the chapter. You have to, safely and legally mind you, drive cars up to Bruski's and crush them for money WITHOUT getting a wanted level. It sucks I know but it's the only way.

This is a known bug and it seems to be caused by the player choosing to hold up stores as part of the means by which they obtain the $55K to pay Bruno back. The actual cause may be having been chased by and escaped from the cops, but in any event players report that having loaded a previous save and then doing only the steal car and drop it off at the crusher method for obtaining the money causes the mission to complete normally (meaning not be bugged).
