No you can't but if you have the greaser pack dlc then yes but to get the Walter hot rod you need to get the renegade pack dlc

Actually if you want the pick up hotrod or the walter hot (fastest car in the game) then you load chapter 8 after all the shooting is done. You go to the red hot rod and look to the right. A couple feet away you should see the walter and a pick up get the walter and drive it to the gate. Then get the red hot that is parked and put it just 1 inch before the gate take the walter and push the red hot rod out of the gate. Then park the red on the path and get the walter hot rod and take it to the body shop because the wheels are popped fix it then go to Derek office ( south of map) and park the Walter a couple feet away from the carrying thing. when you get out of the Walter hot rod make sure the door is opened DO NOT CLOSE THE DOOR. then leave he Walter hot rod their and get another car around the place drive back to were you parked the other hot rod drive it to Derek office. Now if you put the red hot rod on the carrying thing you keep the Walter if you put the Walter on the carrying thing you keep the red one. 1 more thing After you have made your choice and you put the car on the carrying thing you have to sprint to your car that you chose and get in it before the red hot rod gets loaded because if U walk to the hot rod you chose by the time you get their it will disappear and it will be crushed so you need to
sprint. Once you have did all that take the money you get and give it to the person you are supposed to then go home and park it on the road beside your house go inside your house and sleep the next morning it will be their so whenever u want to drive the hot rod load chapter 9 and it will be their beside your home

This doesn't work because you have to keep repairing the engine

You CAN get a hot rod truck and the Walter Hot Rod in Chapter 15 east side of map, at a factory. Some guy on youtube said, you can get the Walter though, at around that same place in chapter 10, you don't need the dlc to get it, either way.

Go to youtube and type "mafia 2 hot rod in chapter 15" it should be the 1st or 2nd video. cant confirm it works without the dlc though

You can get a hotrod on chapter 8 right after the greasers burn your truck they start you out in one it's not like the the red hotrod but it's pretty fast and you can paint it

You know you can make a hot rod if you turn the simpl smit cupe in to a supercharged it speeds is over 360km

Chapter ten after the bar scene when you bring joe home 'this must be after you drop joe off and it tells you to go home' drive around in the bottom of the map or near where the greasers where in the right corner of the map their is a bar their they have to that's on the map anyway the Walter coupe will spawn it might take along time to find it though and it sucks because you only get to drive it for like 2 chapters. And in Chapter 15 the other hot rods spawn in the similar areas. Hope this helps more!!!
