I just got my son Madden 2013 and he want's to play the carrier/player mode but we can't figure it out. I tried my best following the instructions but I keep getting denied. Do I have to pay money to play this mode and is there a step by step manual guide I can read?
Also...I did check out my net connections on the x-box option and there were good. Please help Thnx.

If it will not let you play on career mode as a player, either try being a coach and use all players or check the roster update
You have to press Start my Career, then press Play Offline(If you want to join a league online press Play Offline), then press Use Default Connected Career Roster, then choose player or coach, then, press either Use Game Face, Create a Player, Active Player, or NFL Legend.(I like playing on NFL Legends because it has all the great players like Jerry Rice, Vince Lombardi, and Barry Sanders) Now, set all of the settings and you should be able to figure it out.
