How do I substitute on madden 12 xbox 360

Hello I am a kid asking you how to substitute on madden 12 xbox 360 I do not know how to.

When you are choosing a play during a game, go to the by formation tab, select the formation you want to substitute, and press rb on your controller. That gives you the option to sub. I suggest turning off the play clock before going to sub, especially on offense, so it doesn't run out. Then turn it back on when you're done. That's what I did.
