Lego Harry Potter: Years 1-4 Questions

I'm stuck okay so I'm at the part were Harry and haminy use the ideum that takes them back in time right after you fight off the warewolf...so I'm stuck at hagwards back yard and you have to save the bird buckweat before it dies....so I realy need your help how do you get it out if tryed for litterly 7 hours

This is one of those quests where you can actually make your life harder than it needs to be by over-thinking things... Basically this is a really simple quest as all that you need to do is save Buckbeak!

Previously you did the whole hunt for the chicken legs give them to Buckbeak so you could complete the entire bow-to-be-accepted-as-an-equal thingy so that the Hippogryff (that is what Buckbeak is you know) does not decide to rip your head off and poop down your throat, at which point he flipped you on to his back and flew away with you – the operative point being that you now have an established relationship with Buckbeak that is based upon mutual respect and acceptance, so you do not have to go through all of that crap again when it comes time to save him...

Speaking of saving him, head towards where he is staked out and, before you get there be sure that you put on your invisibility cloak and then, once you are near Buckbeak find the potion that is also nearby where he is, and use the potion (while invisible) to make the plants here grow. Approaching the plants causes them to swell and explode so keep doing that until you have cleared the area of threats and then smash the rope that is restraining Buckbeak (Really? A rope? Buckbeak could snap that by burping on it!)

Once you have that severed you get the key to the chest that is near him and when you open the chest a piece of meat will appear. Cast Wingardiuk Leviosa on the meat to cause it to float over you which will in turn cause Buckbeak to follow the meat because he is a bitch for meat and there you go! Just lead him to safety and all is right with the world!
