Before Buckbeak

In Between the divination lesson and feeding buckbeak there is a troll blocking a door and I can't get passed it. How do I do this?

This troll is probably just scenery, and you shouldn't need to go through him. Try finding another way around.

This is happening to me as well - a sleeping police troll that is seemingly impossible to pass. Yes, I am definitely being directed through him with both my ghost guide and a white arrow pointing through the door he is blocking. Please help. This dilemma is not mentioned on any walkthrough.

I was able to move the Troll away from the door but it still won't let me through... Help!

It's a glitch! Your guide is misdirecting you. You should ignore the guide and go to the pumpkin patch by Hagrid's hut. That will get your game back in place. I nearly pulled my hair out figuring this out. I've not seen this mentioned in any guides or walkthroughs. The only thing I can imagine causing this is the fact that I started this game on a previously played save slot. I incidentally deleted my game (way too easy to do on this game), then started a new game in the same slot.

nearly Headless nick is leading you the wrong way, go to hagrids house you will then go to buckbeak's level.
