You have to kill a tank, but only the survivors from L4D1 can do any damage. If anyone from L4D2 does even 1 damage, you will fail the achievement.

The dude is in the 2ND chapter of dark carnival so start the chapter and keep going down until you find the cotton candy store turn left to the yellow building and go to the front, then around the corner he will be sitting in a box on the wall the way I get him is go far back and charge at him and then snatch him out.
