Ram him in the mouth with one of the round things then use uprooter and turn into rubble and shoot rcks in his mouth

Ok first you will see boomroot plants (bombs) you get Pummleweed launch those at him that will bring his health down a little. Then he will shake his head trolls will fall out of his head, then he will laugh get Rubble launch rocks into his mouth(it might take a few tries). Keep doing that you will win.

When you use you're grass type creature sorry I forget the names
When you frow a bom at it use you're creature that shoots his brick and shoot them in his mouth but wach for the attack he does after you get his life down.

Wayhay! Jackieboy's gone 360! Yeah!
So, about the tree. Yeah. Notice those explosive shells laying around. Turn into Pummel Weed and use Shredder to get underneath the shells, and head towards the tree, then Uproot the shell into the tree.
So far so good, but now, the tree will send Trolls after you. Turn into Rubble wait for the tree to start laughing. Use Chip to send a rock into it's mouth. Repeat this process, and viola! Hope I helped!
